Today was a triumph.
I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS.
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction. ^^


Today... was amazing. In as few words as possible- astounding.
To the great place in line down to the specially prepared and delicious vegetarian meal at the Chinese food place ("You wait there- we don't make it very often!") From getting our picture taken about a thousand times to meeting and .
And of course, meeting David Kaye, Tara Strong, and Bumper Robinson was just too damn cool. Tara's AMAZING- she was so sweet and generous, and even called me and Starscream Foxchild out twice for fighting during the panel! They were all so tired... coffee was needed. And Bumper was hilarious to be around, not to mention easy on the eyes...

And then there was David Kaye.

I got him to say bubble bath, do a continuation of the Autobots Suck at Golf skit, sign my Optimus Prime Animated figure AND the back of my dress. With my sharpie. OH PRECIOUS SACRED SHARPIE. I have to say, even though he was totally sleep deprived he was still hilarious. The man is just one big clean smelling freckle (I thought it was a tan, but it's just a mass of freckles giving off the impression of tan-ness). He went on about his mom liking Tim Hortons and pouring all sorts of crap into her coffee and making it taste like a butter tart. I shall post pictures soon... I AM SO HAPPY!

We met the lovely mens from IDW, went to their panel and hung around with them for most of the evening before we left. Went to the parking garage, couldn't find where the hell we had parked, recorded hilarious silliness on the way back to 's house. Also stopped at a park to get some good shots of the costumes for portfolios and personal enjoyment, then to UDF for some ice cream, back to Foxchild's house and then home!

So besides the incessant hacking cough that makes me sound like I'm dying of consumption and my feet wanting to die from the four inch stilettos...

It was the perfect day.
